Collectors Selection – Privacy statement

 

1.    Collectors Selection exhibits and sells original art work as part of Brighton’s Festivals of Artists Open Houses in May each year and occasionally at other dates during the year.

2.    Collectors Selection holds only the following personal data: Names, postal and/or email addresses relating to members of the public who have visited the open house and purchased art and/or signed the visitors' book.

3.    Personal data is used by the Collectors' Selection to :

  • Keep a record of sales of artwork.
  • Communicate about its activities with customers and/or individuals who have expressed an interest in being informed about its activities by providing details in the visitors' book.

4.    Personal data will only be used by the society for the above purposes and, with the following exception, will not be made available to anyone other than those involved in organising the above activities:

·        Exception: We use a third-party provider (currently MailChimp) to deliver invitations and newsletters, to those who provide us with an email address. We gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies to help us monitor and improve our e-newsletter. 5.    Individuals can unsubscribe from our email mailing list at any time (there’s a button at the bottom of every mailchimp email we send), or to view information we hold and to request this to be revised or deleted. Requests for such action should be sent to karin@collectorsselection.org.uk.

6.    Personal data is stored securely and processed only by directors of Collectors Selection.
