Be inspired to start your own collection
Collectors Selection was set up by Karin Janzon and Helmut Lusser. We were inspired by visits to Brighton Festival Artists Open Houses and other exhibitions to develop a collection of fine art from outstanding local, national and international artists. Having more than filled our available wall space, we decided the time had come to share our discoveries with others by inviting a selection of the best artists to exhibit new work for sale in our home in Hove as part of the Brighton Artists Open Houses Festival.
The result was a show case of inspiring work of the highest standard from an extraordinary diverse group of artists, drawing inspiration from near and afar. Part of the Hove Arts Trail, Collectors’ Selection attracted over 1600 visitors in May 2009 and comments from visitors were extremely positive and appreciative:

We are continuing to promote high quality fine art from emerging and established artists by encouraging people to view paintings, sculpture and innovative outdoor works and to be inspired to start their own collection of original artworks.
